I am a natural-light, on-location photographer specializing in couples, portrait, and family photography based out of Eden Prairie, MN. I grew up in Chicago and moved to Minnesota to attend college at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
My passion for photography really took hold in college. Studying film history and criticism, I spent my days and nights analyzing the classics. There's no better inspiration for capturing beautiful images than movies like Vertigo, Rear Window, or Notorious (okay yeah, I'm a bit of a Hitchcock nut). I'm just a sucker for those gorgeous shots and framing! Since then, I've developed quite the eye for capturing that perfect look.
I've been a photography hobbyist since 2008 and decided to turn professional in 2014. I love photographing people and capturing the magic of an important relationship. I'll happily set poses, but at the end of the day I'm a sucker for candid lifestyle photography. The goal of my sessions is to create a casual, relaxed experience where my subject can truly be his or her self.
I currently live in Eden Prairie with my fellow film-major husband Ben, two cats (Emma and Pickle), and a goofball pug named Charlie. I love film, Halloween, The Muppets, 80's music, dungeons & dragons, dinner parties, warm weather, the Renaissance Festival, and hiking.
